INDIA
We toured Rajasthan, India in the most interesting way possible. We boarded “Palace on Wheels”, a luxurious train, originally meant to be the personal railway coaches of the rulers of India. It had a series of salons highlighting the cultural ethos of each state with furniture, handicrafts, and paintings. Delhi-based interior designer, Payal Kapoor decorated the interiors of the train. Each coach matched the aesthetics and interiors of the Royal past. Our itinerary began in New Delhi, then went to Jaipur, Chittaurgarh, Udapur, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, and Agra, where we rode camels. India was an unforgettable experience, and the best part was we never had to pack and unpack. It was all there in our cozy stateroom!
